Wait, what is an abortion anyway? An abortion is a precedure done to end the pregnancy of an unborn fetus before the time of birth occurs.
In my blog, I will put together an unbiased factual grouping of arguments from each the Pro-Life activist and the Pro-choice activist. This is not an easy topic for everyone to discuss without emotional attachment I will do my best to introduce ideas that might be able to open the minds of each argumentative parties so to help us agree to disagree on a topic such as this. I want people to realize that no one person is ever right or wrong, never better than or worse off. The first step to living peacefully amongst our enemies is to better understand where they are coming from and why they might find reason to disagree with another's point of view.
I also want to help educate the reader who might be thinking of abortion herself, my objective is not to detour her from aborting her baby, but instead to help her understand a little better about what an abortion might do to her both physically and mentally. The best way to prevent abortions is to make sure the pregnancies do not happen in the first place, with possible contraceptive techniques, and the idea of abstinence.
First off is to discuss the different types of abortion:
Medical Abortion: For a medical abortion, a combination of drugs is taken to end a pregnancy. A medical abortion does not require surgery and can be performed up to 49 days after the first day of the last menstrual period. Two combinations of medications are available for medical abortions: Methotrexate and misoprostol—Methotrexate terminates a pregnancy by inhibiting the production of folic acid in the pregnant woman's body. Folic acid is necessary for making the cells that form the brain, spine, organs, skin, and bones of the developing fetus. Misoprostol is then used. This drug causes the uterus to contract and expel its contents. Mifepristone (formerly known as RU486) and a misoprostol—Mifepristone terminates a pregnancy by blocking the action of progesterone in the pregnant woman's body. Progesterone helps maintain the uterine lining, which is necessary for a pregnancy to be sustained. Misoprostol is then used and works as noted above.
Surgical Abortion: Surgical abortions remove the contents of the uterus. They are performed in a few ways, with the procedure depending on the length of the pregnancy:
Suction curettage can be performed during the first trimester—up to 12 weeks—of pregnancy.
Physical Side Effects of Abortion:
1. Infection is caused due to an undiagnosed STD, retained pregnancy components. The usual symptom of an infection involves dizziness, headaches or muscle aches. Redness, swelling or pain in genital area is also another signs of the infection.
2. An unusual bleeding may occur due to surgical procedure in case the blood vessels or uterine muscles do not compress properly. There are chances of excessive bleeding or passing clots bigger than a golf ball, bleeding heavily for 12 hours in a row.
3. If there is serious pain on the abdomen after the medication and rest, there are chances that the body may not be healing properly and needs medical attention.
4. In case the cervix is cut by mistake stitches may be needed to stop the bleeding and during this procedure if the cervix gets injured it may avoid successful pregnancy in the future. This is an extremely rare side effect and can be solved with help of a surgery.
5. The other most common side effects of a surgical abortion and cause no harm are like irregular bleeding or spotting during the first 3 weeks, emotional reactions for 2-3 weeks and cramping for the first 2 weeks. Most of the surgical abortions involve maximum recovery time of around 3 weeks and sometimes more serious side effects also occur which requires follow-up care.

Many people who are pro-life choose to be because of Moral beliefs or values that the person believes strongly in. Some people just don't like the idea that people can control who gets to live and or die, they believe that we do not have the right to decide this. Only God, the all knowing creator gets to decide who lives and who dies.

I read a forum about a case where a young 13 year old child was raped by her own Uncle at a family event. She talks about how emotionaly tramitizing it was for her. She talks about why she got the abortion and that she now has met her husband who she had a baby boy with. Stories like this are why it just makes sense for abortion to be an option for the unfortionate girl who finds herself filled witht the semen of a crazed man who deserves to have his genitals cut off, in my opinion.

An interview in time magazine quotes Justin Beiber, a young pop artist of today who speaks without truly understanding the significance of his word choice. He believes that abortion is wrong in every circumstance, even in the case of rape. Justin Beiber represents the uneducated who wants to belive that every life was meant to be lived similar to his. The fact of the matter is, that some life on earth was meant to die, and dwindle. The famous story of Saddartha who dedicated his life the poverty and suffering is a perfect example of this. If everything happens for a reason, then maybe the baby who was aborted was just a part of the plan that might have been the reason to help turn the life around of a potential mother who realized the significance of her actions which gave her the reason or drive to make a difference of the lives of others on earth. The point is, that their is no surefire way to live life here on earth, we need to live our life judging ourselves instead of worrying about the actions of others.

From reading more and more about the topic of
abortion, it seems like people are beginning to fight and argue more so over
our rights as citizens and what is taking away from our rights as free
citizens. This article was helpful, but was in no way a significant means of
argument when considering a stance unless you yourself believe in the same
morals as Catholics do. Many people do not have any religious affiliation now
days, so arguments that has no factual backing, leaves the decision and outcome
up to God who created the two human beings who came together to help bring

of the world, from a religious standpoint we are killing of the babies who
might potentially go on to change the world for the better.

the people we are today because of evolution and the idea that the strongest
survive, the idea that killing of a baby because it might affect the strengths
or life of another member in the family was more than common in eyes of the
scientist.
For the second article I chose, I
tried to focus on finding a point of view that is on the other side of the
argument, which argues for prochoice and argued reasons of why a woman would
have no other choice but to abort their baby. The paper goes into the
understanding of the reproductive rights that people have as citizens. The
paper brings up issues of racism and ways that white supremacy may force their
beliefs onto other cultures who believe that a woman has the right to do what
she wants with her body. Kinship between a mother and child seems to be less
significant in the eyes of some people who might choose prochoice over prolife.
The
paper talks about how each side of the argument of the Pro-choice, pro-life
paradigm are both sexist and racist, giving neither side a strong argument to
fall on when choosing to be pro life or prochoice. In the end, it comes down to
a battle of morality between people and justice code that everyday individuals
live with.
The
question, does every person in the world have Morals,? I would say yes, but the
morals that are instilled in us as we grow up are always different. Moral code
is no specific guideline or code, That is why humans love to argue on the topic
and voice beliefs and opinions that can neither be proven wrong or right.
Humans will never be able to prove whether one life is more important than
another’s, or that a single life is worth 500 lives.

A funny story about people saving the life of a cat because they felt to bad about killing it makes a person think about why humans can kill off their own offspring easier and with less emotional attachtment than some can an animal.
